Rover lets sitters get away with too much

I literally had a dude on camera in the back part of my house and in MY BEDROOM. When I told him I saw him on camera (my gut went off and I checked it. I never check it most of the time but this guy was a new walker because my regular wasn’t available) I noticed he would linger in my house. he stretched out like he was putting his D—k in the camera. He then tried to gaslight me. Oh and he was 2 hours late for the walk. Rover did nothing and blew me off. I have it on camera.

This one chick I use not very often but is a back up Back up. She put two leashes on my dog at once. The one she put on top is not loose and so it was squeezing her body and it must have hurt. She was like “I was wondering about that”. She saw that my expensive leash had my expensive harness on it so instead of picking a different leash and using the harness she had on she did that. Like what? Then she breaks my expensive leash and says “apologizes” and it would take talent to break it. She refuses to replace it. Rover does nothing.

75% of walkers/sitters are fine but that 25%.. they can damage your stuff up to 250 dollars. They can enter parts of your house and be a creep. You can have it on camera and still - nothing. That’s absolutely insane to me.

I'm behind on taxes and need a CPA and help!

Hi there ,

I went back to contracting in event production after dissolving my LLC. I was required by one company to be an S Corp to work with them and decided I'd do that so I could just work with whoever and get more work. I didn't realize the whole extent of what I was getting myself into. I know I should have addressed this stuff earlier. When I previously had an LLC I would just pay myself and then do taxes later. I didn't mean to push things off, I just had really bad mental health from escaping domestic violence and having to dig my way out financially to even just survive. I was on the run for a year and it was just... I could only take on so much. My mental health was so bad that I could barely function or get out of bed. I could get myself to the gig and home and then it was bed. I was in a deep mental fog and couldn't figure anything out and can't believe I even managed to do what I did. Now that I'm out of the fog.. it's time to really get this in order because holy crap have I procrastinated and done a lot wrong.

Today, I reached out to 1-800Accountant to see what my situation was. I have a lot to do, but I think I can find my way through and deal with everything. I finally feel emotionally able to pull it together. They quoted me around 6,000 dollars to amend my taxes (as I only personally filed and didn't for my business) and to also to do payroll and figure out the rest. Is this a normal rate for all of this? I have no idea and am in over my head but am ready to swim! I'm looking for any advice or referrals. I just don't know even where to start but I do know I need to address this asap. I don't have 6,000 on hand and they said they might be able to split the payments. If I could do 3 payments I could do it. I do have money coming in and have plenty of work lined up but I also have bills and.. I just need any guidance I can get from people who are not trying to sell me things.

Thanks in advance

Edit: I spoke with an accountant and also researched things. I'm aware of what I need to do. I'm looking for advice on finding a CPA or a company that can do all the things for me.. and also any info about 1-800accountant and their pricing etc. Do folks use the same company for both payroll and taxes? Or? Has anyone else been in this situation? What did you do you? How did you dig your way out? I'm just looking for help in navigating finding help or ways other people have dealt with similar situations. Thank you!

I made a deposit error

Hello!

I worked for this company that had ridiculous insurance requirements for vendors and so I opted in to using Mertz Crew so I'd be insured. I barely work for them so I wasn't willing to change my insurance company just for one or two gigs a year. I had all my tax info entered correctly but for some reason, I put my personal account and not my business account for payment. This was a silly mistake but I had gone through some domestic violence and my trauma brain was doing the best it could to pull it together at the time. The deposit went through, but it's not only in the wrong account, the payment was made to me and not my company. Is there any way I can resolve this? I've tried to research but I come up with nothing. I just need my taxes to make sense and feel like I just screwed myself.
