Hey all

We've spent years building a library of parametric dieline templates (boxes, separators, sleeves, displays, etc.) and just opened up a public API so

you can generate them programmatically instead of clicking around our editor.

What it does:

- POST dimensions and a template ID, get back a production-ready dieline as PDF, DXF, or SVG

- Generate 3D mockups of the same dieline (with your own artwork applied)

- Nesting/imposition endpoints — find the most efficient layout for a given sheet size and get the nested file back

- Sandbox environment is free, so you can integrate and test before paying anything

Specifically, I'd love to hear:

  1. If you're a structural designer or work at a converter — would you ever reach for an API, or is the workflow too "in Illustrator/ArtiosCAD" for programmatic generation to fit?
  2. If you're on the platform side (e-commerce, print-on-demand, quoting tools) — what's missing from the endpoints above that would block you from integrating?
  3. Output formats — we do PDF, DXF, SVG. or something else?
  4. Or any feedback in general.

You can poke at the sandbox here: https://sandbox.api.diecuttemplates.com

(Because this is the API endpoint, visiting this on the browser will simply show "not authenticated" error because you can't pass the API key in the browser.)
