Neurodivergent

Hi guys! I was curious how many had their baby and they turned out to be neurodivergent due to the fact you are on a spectrum of some sort? My daughter is only 10 months old so there truly isn’t anything that concerns me yet. I was diagnosed late in my 20s, and it really sealed the deal of being OAD!

Happy to be one & done

Hi guys! I’m a 27/ftm to a 10 mo baby girl! I’m sure you guys have seen post like this before but I am proud of myself for making the correct decision for myself. To give some background my partner and I always wanted to have two kids. Last year when I was pregnant, I had a horrible pregnancy. I suffered from hypertension and HG. I was hospitalized twice during my pregnancy. After 2.5 days of being in labor, my birth turned into an emergency c-section. I went home and had to come back a day later because I had severe postpartum preeclampsia.

My partner being supportive through it all, was absolutely supportive of not having anymore kids. He did express how he was a bit sad to not have more because we always wanted two. He told me it is 100% my choice and I have the right to choose.

My MIL is a very sweet person. She really wanted more grandkids as most grandparents do, but once I told her I can’t do it again and I will be choosing my right she 100% supported it as well. She doesn’t bring it up anymore about us having more because I made it super clear it will never happen.

I am getting the BC implant tomorrow. I will then be getting my tubes tied once the birth control expires. It will last 5 years. We will be using condoms with the BC and he will be getting snipped in the next few years.

To anyone that has felt guilty about not having more kids- your child will be fine. You have to make the right decision for you. Especially the women who have to go through it all. Make sure you are using extra protection to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

I am a good mother to one, I would only be mother to more. Not having more kids will let me be the mom I’ve always wanted to be. My daughter is my only focus.

One and done ❤️
