We are going to start retraining my 13 month old with Ferber. He typically stands in the crib and cries. For the check ins, should we just pat him on the back or lay him down every time we go in? He knows how to sit down on his own.

Also, any other advice for sleep training a 13 month old is much appreciated😅😅😅
