What would cause this gouging? I was printing in PETG fine, then I switched to Overture PLA (well dried) to print some gridfinity stuff. I printed nearly an entire roll trying to figure out why it was warping at the end (plus some other things). The warping was annoying but it wasn’t clogging.

This same thing happened the other day so I thought it may be a clogged nozzle so I pulled the heat block and cleaned it and ensured it was properly inserted. Then I switched to a new roll of Overture PLA (also well dried) and it happened again.

I’ve tried heating the nozzle to 290 for a while, running a needle, and purging a bunch. It doesn’t seem clogged. It happens at different parts of the print. I’ve auto homed many times. Bed is level. Nothing under the plate.

The nozzle is the Prusa one that comes with the MMU3…a 0.4 Non-HF. Core One built from my MK4s last year. Using the Overture PLA profile. I made sure all the changes I made Turing to fix the warping are undone. It’s back to the defaults. Not sure if it’s related but I updated to the latest fw for both the core one and the mmu3 right before this started happening.

Thoughts? Is it just clogging? Are these bad rolls of filament (from a two pack so the same run most likely?
