Hi, I've been on sertraline for just over 2 weeks at 50mg. I've had pretty severe depression and anxiety since around starting puberty (I'm 24 now)

I have had issues with erectile dysfunction and maintaining an erection for as long as I can really remember, and after starting sertraline this has seemingly gotten a lot better. I'm able to gain and keep erect for (essentially) as long as I want, when previously I wouldn't be able to go beyond being flaccid, or would go from erect to flaccid whilst masturbating (etc) fairly quickly.

I've always had issues with not being able to cum (anorgasmia), and I think this has also gotten worse since starting sertraline - I don't really mind this in all honesty (at least so far).

I've also been very horny pretty often which I've never really experienced in my life. This does make the anorgasmia a bit worse, but I'm fine with it I think.

I'm trans and have been on estrogen for 1 year and decapeptyl (a gnrh agonist that acts as a testosterone blocker) for just over three months. I haven't really had any impact on sexual function from this (at least in terms of erections) from my baseline of erectile dysfunction.

I know there are obvious confounding factors, but has anyone on sertraline experienced an improvement in their erectile dysfunction since starting on it?

So far I would say sertraline has been pretty good for me, I have fewer racing thoughts and intrusive thoughts, but I've had a really sore tummy sometimes, and I've had really bad feelings of depression at some points. I don't know whether any of that is confirmation bias (e.g. if I'm having bad depression thoughts because the sertraline can worsen it, or would I be having those feelings anyway) or placebo, but I understand that side effects can be worse initially, etc, and I'm generally pretty hopeful about the medication.
