Realtek 8821CE Wi-Fi Stopped Working on PC?
Hi, I've had to make a new account as my main PC has had the Wi-Fi crap itself.
I have a self-built PC running Windows 11, no issues for 2 years, up until today when the Wi-Fi decided to stop functioning. Specifically, if this helps, the Wi-Fi card is a Realtek 8821CE Wireless Lan 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.
I've tried:
Restarting Network Adapter via Windows Troubleshooting
Resetting Network Settings
Uninstalling the driver + Restarting
Installing the newest Realtek driver (From a USB)
Enabling/Disabling 802.11d in Device Manager
Changing Wireless mode from 'Auto' to 'IEEE 802.11a/n/ac'
Someone had mentioned resetting BIOS, but I have a lot of custom settings that have worked very well, and the only Wi-Fi related setting in the Gigabyte BIOS is a 'Enable/Disable Onboard LAN controller'.
If this helps, note that the PC CAN connect to the Wi-Fi, Windows IS connecting to the network, but is giving that generic 'No Internet' error. Looking at Task Manager, there IS data being sent/recieved (~8kbps per sometimes...).
I'm not exactly a tech expert, but is this a hardware issue? Do I need to replace my Wi-Fi card? Any help is appreciated. I'm so stumped!
