HydraGlyde cloudy vision problem solution

A few days ago, I bought an AOSept Plus HydraGlyde peroxide cleaning solution, and the second time I used it, my lenses gradually became foggy. Within an hour, I started seeing rainbow halos around lights, and my vision only returned to normal about an hour after I took the lenses out.
I started looking for similar experiences and solutions on Reddit, and I found quite a few posts about this issue.
Only one guy, u/thebarkinghorse, wrote about the fridge solution, and that comment only has 2 upvotes. But it worked for me too. Thank you, mate ❤️
So I’m writing this post to make it more visible for people who might run into the same issue that many of us have had with HydraGlyde.
At the end of the day, I put the contact lenses into the case with the solution, then placed it in the refrigerator. I waited at least 6 hours, and after taking it out, I let it sit at room temperature for a while so I wouldn’t put a 3°C contact lens into my eye.
After that, during wear, I did not experience blurry vision or rainbow halos.
