These are some early(VERY EARLY) predictions for what the next showtime pack could look like following the recent round of 16 matches. This features players who have had standout performances thus far:

-Ounahi-
Hole Player

2 Goals in a crucial round of 16 match against Canada, with excellent finishing from outside, and inside the box. He receives the Showtime Skill "Phenomenal Finishing" as a result of his fantastic performance.

-Bellingham-
Hole Player

Match isn't over as of this post(😅), however so far he has delivered one of the best individual performances of the entire tournament in this match. He has displayed excellent dribbling throughout the match, retaining the ball in crucial moments, and has shown hunger to finish off chances scoring a header and a tap in. He receives the Showtime Skills "Bullet Header" and "Magnetic Feet" as a result of his performance so far.

-Haaland-
Poacher

Haaland scored the 2 goals to secure the biggest result in Norwegian football history against Brazil, the most successful country in World Cup history. He scored in two very different ways, with a low driven long range banger, and a powerful header as he dunked on Gabriel(sorry Arsenal fans). There is almost no player as deserving of these skills, and if you watched the match, you would sure agree. He receives the Showtime Skills "Bullet Header" and "Low Screamer" as a result of his superb performance.

Okay so I created this Captain Tsubasa × eFootball Vol. 3 concept because I really enjoyed the first two official Captain Tsubasa collaborations and wanted to imagine what a third volume could look like. For me, the Captain Tsubasa campaigns were some of konamis best when it came to new cards and their design. However, instead of focusing on national teams again, I decided to take a partner-club-focused approach, building two separate packs around Manchester United(longtime partner) and Borussia Dortmund(new partner).

One of my favorite parts of the previous collaborations was the manga artwork featured on the cards, so I wanted to keep that going while changing it to a club setting. Each Epic card includes Captain Tsubasa-inspired manga artwork, and i attempted to make it a natural continuation of the original crossover series.

The goal was to create something that felt authentic to both eFootball and Captain Tsubasa while also imagining a different direction that Konami could potentially take if they ever decided to revisit the collaboration in the future. I introduced new epics that we could possibly get because of the new partnership in Hummels and Weidenfeller, and a new epic in Neville that we could possibly get as a new united epic in the future.

To complete the experience, I also created some standard collab cards that you would earn from various tasks or would be given by Konami. Okay so, I came up with this concept for an Epic player box that is more F2P-friendly due to the endless grind required to save coins for even a chance at a desired player from a standard box. Coins are hard to come by without excessive playing and/or spending, which is why it's nearly impossible for F2P players such as myself to have a chance at getting desired players without insane luck.

This box counters that. Instead of the standard 150-player box, it has 75 players, steeply increasing the chance of pulling an Epic from it. This gives F2P players a more accessible option if a standard box is too expensive. However, to counter this, the players are not as strong as standard Epic box players. These players are still better than the occasional free Epic tossed to us F2P players by Konami and are good enough to compete against the current meta to a high degree.

These boxes also offer an opportunity to highlight other players and legends of the game instead of constantly recycling the same 30–40 Epic cards. They also allow for more themed content, as they not only create a larger variety of players but could also be used for weekly match or objective events to offset the often-reported feeling of a "lack of grind" in the game. With new players on offer every week, it gives players a reason to check in, even if the standard Epic Player Box on offer is a skip for them.

For this concept pack specifically, I chose a national team as the theme to intentionally fit the upcoming World Cup, not only to highlight fantastic players who could end up being gems of cards, but also to demonstrate how this concept could be used for various events.
