Apologies if this is not the right place for posting this...
I have played Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX from start up to Janken's Castle and the fight against Janken but my controller gave out on me. Have tried several other methods of controlling Alex from using my 3DS to using the touchscreen gamepad on Steam Link but nothing works as well as a real controller and I'm unfamiliar with the keyboard controls in a platformer.
The help I need is that upon booting the game today I accidentally pressed new game and cloud save sync was on Epic Games, the game has started from the beginning and even the cloud save has been written over so I have effectively lost all my progress and don't wanna go through the entire game on controls I can't play with properly
Does anyone know if there's a cheat code or save file I can use to get myself to Janken's Castle again? Having my controller die on me (it's a PS4 controller which refuses to work) was bad enough but I can't do all this again on keyboard
Any help would be appreciated
