So, I'm running the Spa Endurance in the 95 McLaren (2 Chilis), and I'm a little over 2 hours in, about 2 hours, 10 minutes. It's fun and challenging in the sense that it's a 3 way race, but only for 3rd place. #1 and #2, in 97 McLarens, are ridiculously far ahead. Both have lapped us 3rd place fighters, and #1 is 2 up.

Does it get better? Will #1 and 2 chill at some point? Or am I just gonna be racing for 3rd for the next 6 hours?

The craziest part, is #1 only went in the pit for just the 3rd time around the 1 hour 50 minute mark. There's no way that car sips fuel that economically while pulling away from the field like this. #2 is the exact same car, same livery, so same "team," though he went in a few laps beforehand.

Worse still, the rain finally affected the track enough to produce some spary around the 2 hour 30 minute mark, yet no other car seemed to care, and it didn't seem to affect their racing or lines AT ALL. They all stayed on slicks for a good 5-10 laps!

I saw #1, when he lapped me for the 2nd time, get hit by the car in front, in rain, half on the rumble strip, half on the OB, on his RM slicks, right before a turn, do nothing more than shimmy a bit, then absolutely crush his turn on a dime, while taking off like he hit afterburners.

I don't want to invest 6 more hours or hopelessness. Or doing nothing more than racing for 3rd.
