Did anyone else go crazy trying to figure out who these guys were?

The whole time in Andor season two, I was like why are army troopers wearing black?

I guess they're a special branch of army guys, but I'm not sure why they had to create another branch. Using regular army guys would be good enough.

Or they could have made these guys more like the SS and outside the army command altogether.

Anyway, I just want to her that I wasn't the only crazy person trying to figure it out.
