I have this 2000 S-10 with 30,000 (barely driven by my parents). I recently spent $3,500 to get it back in working order, with new tires and brakes, but now six-months later, the pistons need replaced ($3,300). Is it worth getting new pistons at this point? It's helpful to have an extra care but don't want it to be a money pit.
My son purchased this for $100 as a gift for my daughter. It is supposed to be authentic but I have my doubts, especially with no inner tag and plain zipper pull. Bottom edging was torn so she had it sewn at a local tailor.
We are in London for our last day of a 4-day visit. We are going to Borough Market this morning at opening (so my daughter can get some chocolate-covered strawberries that are apparently a big hit), then we have the rest of the day. It is worth it to take a visit to Hampstead? I’ve read that it’s charming village and worth a look, but I also don’t want to misuse our precious time today. (We’ve visited Notting Hill, Marylebone, SoHo and Covent Garden, and Westminster areas and hope to check out Mayfair this evening for dinner.)
