I recently landed a part-time job as a commercial delivery driver. However, it feels like no one really guides you through the onboarding process at the company so much so that I actually had to figure out how to set up my direct deposit and other things entirely on my own. According to the person who interviewed me, my hours will depend on how busy the store is, but they could range from 15 to 25 hours a week—SUPPOSEDLY. I went through my "Foundation" training today, where I learned how to use the app to check schedules and such. I noticed there’s a section for "availability"; does this mean I can select the specific days and times I’m available to work?? and then my store manager decides whether to schedule me during those hours based on that? I'm a bit confused, lol.
