Verizon is trying to hire me, should I do it?

For context, this is in a mall and I work at a food spot right across from them so we see each other daily and wave every now and then. One of my coworkers held up a sign that said “hiring?” and they actually needed workers. Tried hiring both of us but I needed more convincing other than “we make a ton of money.” Overall, everyone there is always talking to each other so team wise they seem okay. So generally speaking, I make 24/hr and around 34-37 hours , 4 days a week. They sent the link to their posting and referral and the position is “Retail Sales Associate” full time 5 days a week. It also states “you can earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $18,000 a year in individual-based commissions if you hit all your sales goals. “ (Compensation: The starting base pay rate for the location(s) listed on this job requisition is: $20.67 per hour) I’m not sure if he’s baiting me and sugar coating it. Do you guys think it’s worth it to join them and leave my current job? I’ve already been thinking of leaving, I just needed a position with higher pay, otherwise I wouldn’t settle somewhere else. Whoevers worked at verizon, is it good?

South Seattle College and Full Time Job?

Heyy everyone, quick rundown, I wanted to do an electrician trades program the PSE JATC but found out a little too late that they had closed applications and reopening would take awhile.. maybe till next year. The pay of it would have been good with living situation I have right now, since i get paid while learning. I don’t want to wait another year, I want to invest in my future/career now. So, my next choice is to do a two year program at south seattle college for to become an aviation aircraft mechanic/technician. I pay bills, I don’t have family here and I live in bellevue. Rent is high and I make 25/hr at my current job and work full time there. I can’t not choose to go work, i NEED to, to provide for myself, a roof and food on the table. I work full time and was wondering what are the class schedules like and if it’s worth it for people who are already in this field? If there’s anyone going to the same school for the same subject, how is it? I have no prior experience in any of this. I just like things hands on and want to challenge myself. Above all, I want a set future, a solid one.
