Got some alfalfa hay for our rescued bunny Tan Tan

Can someone help me check the quality of the hay? TuBao came to my house when he was an adult, so I have no knowledge about alfalfa hay. Thanks!

For bun tax, pictures of TuBao and TanTan are attached at the back!

Preparing some stuff for our rescued bun Tan Tan

His new owner doesn't really have much stuff for bunnies so I'm lending some for her before hers are ready.

But I think TuBao isn't so happy about giving his things away... Come on uncle bun, are you seriously stopping me from helping a young and helpless baby bun, just because I'm taking away things that you didn't touch in months??

Uncle TuBao, I don't see your maturity here🤦‍♀️

Rushing to the point of slipping is completely unnecessary, I'm not going to fight you for the pellets cutie😅

Never ever thought about rescuing a dumped bunny

This is Tan Tan! He was dumped on the roadside and when my friend found him, he was drinking rain water. She kept him for a week and posted online finding him a new owner.

Yesterday, I saw the post and he was in a small box with a bit of alfalfa hay in it, and I decided to contact her to ask if she needs any help. She was actually very new to owning a bunny, and didn't know what to do next, so I got some garden selective pellets and a hay bag, then brought him to a vet for checking. Thankfully he had not much illness except the fungus infection on the ears and a little bit of a bloated tummy. The vet said it isn't too bad, as long as he's active and eating fine.

Good news, we already got an experienced bun owner for him, and I don't have to take him back home and isolate him from TuBao🤣 (My friend didn't get to provide him a good living space, so if no one wants him, I'm a better choice of taking care of him. But no blame, she's doing her best!)

I'm so happy that I can help a dumped bunny but yet I'm so angry at the person who dumped Tan Tan... He's so active and sweet! Anyways, this is just a random post sharing a cute baby bunbun, there won't be any other updates about Tan Tan anymore (I can't annoy the new owner too much 😂).

Hi chemists, I'm a Y12 student and I'm planning to start a student initiated club related to chemistry experiments. I have many ideas in my mind now but most are either done already or lack of chemicals.

The ideas that are practical now are:

- hot ice

- barking dog experiment

- hot copper + acetone

- luminol

- make NaK

Can I get some advices on what other fun experiments that I can do (not necessarily beautiful looking, chemically fun is also expected).

Here's some extra info:

- we don't have any cynide (sadly😢)

- common acids and alkalines, salts are available

- not many organic stuff are available (except some common alcohol, alkane, alkene, ketone, carboxylic acid and ester)

- we already done: silver mirror, iodine clock and common high school experiments
