I F(26) want to know how women specifically feel about being a parent. I have heard so many things that leave me equally scared and excited. I have a 7 y/o stepson who I love extensively, but I know having your own children can be different. I am not attached to the idea of being a parent, but I love to hear from others so I’ll leave my list of questions to open up a discussion:
- did you always know you wanted to be a parent?
- how did it change you as a person, for better AND worse?
- if you could go back and tell your pre-child self something, what would it be? Would you do it again aside from how much you love your child?
- how did it change your relationship with the other parent?
- what advice would you give to another woman considering being a parent?
- what advice would you give to another younger woman in general? What do you wish someone told you?
Please don’t hold back I want to hear anything and everything y’all have to say!!
