It's funny to me that I basically dodged the entire laser attack of phase 2 - at the beginning of the attack I literally flew into him, trying to shake his hand without success, so it doesn't count 😜. Basically, all that remains is to learn how to fly in immediately after the transition with a handshake and, I think, this will be enough for 20-28 seconds.
I took a crack at Snail Balteus. 1 min 01 sec (The shotgun blast at 0:03 has absolutely no bearing on my run, so I’m timing it from the moment damage starts registering—via the Combat Armor—at 0:08, right up until the boss’s death at 1:09). Admittedly, this isn't even remotely close to a good speedrun—there’s a 22-second run on YouTube, after all. But how about we put this boss to the ultimate test against his entire nasty moveset?

Definitely not the best result, but the grenade launcher performed well. Or not? In my player, the damage from the first hit is at the fourth second at the very beginning and the finishing move is already at 24 seconds at the beginning.
For anyone who's afraid of replaying a chapter every time to replace parts, just let the boss finish you off and you can change everything through the menu. You can't access the store this way, but everything you've purchased is yours to keep. You can't get S-rank this way. If you've already killed him but managed to pause, hit the respawn button from the checkpoint and then stand still—rockets kill him in 2-4 hits, depending on your HP. With my HP, it's 2 hits.
