Nephew graduation
m really struggling with this situation and feeling itorn. My nephew is graduating 10 hours away, and I truly want to be there for him, but the logistics are really difficult right now. I have 3 kids, we don’t all have tickets to the graduation, the closest airport is still 3 hours from Augusta, and plane tickets are around $800. On top of that, my oldest son is still in school, which would mean either making the trip for only 2 days or leaving my daughter and son behind and only taking the baby.
I know my sister is upset that I may not be able to come, and that honestly hurts because this isn’t about not wanting to support him. I’m just trying to figure out what’s realistically possible for my family without completely overwhelming us financially and emotionally.
