chances of getting into engineering at umd
I am currently a high school junior in the stem program, and I really want to get into UMD. Here are my current stats right now
enrolled in 4 aps: AP physics 1, AP lang, AP seminar, and AP world history (I took AP com sci during freshman year, and honors engineering during sophomore year along with many other honors but unfortunately no aps)
I am also enrolled in 2 honors right which are unfortunately algebra 2 and band. I learned that taking algebra 2 as a junior will really hurt my chances for getting into UMD and that's genuinely the main reason I made this post
On the bright side, I do maintain all A's and B's, I am becoming section leader in band for senior year and i'm obviously continuing AP physics for next year.
If my chances are really low what do I do 😬
