Guess I am partially part of the flock now

Took in couple of rescue birds ~3 months ago. I still remember how this guy used to run and be scared for his life after seeing me.

However, today the fella finally decided my hands are acceptable and accepted seeds via perching on them. It seems the fella accepted me in the flock? (partially? Since this is happening inside cage)

Somehow i think hemp seeds skyrocketed the bonding between us lol. I got them couple of weeks ago and been using them for treats. It seems to work soo damn good

Seeya till next post when i get the complete membership of this flock

I had got a bonded pair of rescue gcc about 75 days ago. However these birbs still are scared to death of me.

One of them is slightly accommodating but the other just runs as far as possible even if i try to approach the cage.

Sometimes they accept food from hand but i think i am making 0 progress in solving issue of passive presence let alone getting them trained

Open to any advice folks and happy to answer your questions.

Fyi : i hv mostly fixed their diet, they are on pellets + veggies. Have toys and enrichment in cage all times
