Hello guys. Recently, my parents bought me a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. It's great and I really like it, but the only issue is that I can't unlock the bootloader because it's the China variant.

When I bind it to my account and try to unlock it in the Mi Unlock tool, I get: "The place where the account is registered does not match the place where the phone is sold."

I've also tried https://xdaforums.com/t/working-bootloader-unlock-solution-getting-chinese-mi-account.4751389/ , but this is patched because you now need a Chinese phone number to create a Chinese Xiaomi account.

Also, the phone is still on MIUI 14.0.18.0(TNRCNXM) with the 2024-02-01 security patch. I blocked system updates since people say it's easier to unlock on MIUI.

I got flagged a week ago for "spamming" while I was just sharing a bunch of Android UI screenshots in a group. I've appealed through spambot three times, but I’m getting zero updates and no countdown.

This isn't my first time being limited (previous times had a date and also got muted for probably the same reason), but this is the time it’s just gone silent.
