How big of a problem are the “mapped” One Piece boosterboxes longe term?

I’m doubting if I should change tactics and stop buying sealed booster boxes because they are mapped. I think that’s also a reason why a lot of collection sets etc are surging.

What do you guys think? Sealed still a valid investment or change route?

Is “The One Piece” on Netflix the most overlooked catalyst for the TCG?

The market gets influenced by events that act as catalysts: the release of anniversary sets (OP05 and OP13), big influencers hyping things up (Luffy D. Monkey), holiday season, and so on. Right now everyone’s talking about OP17, but in my opinion one of the biggest catalysts is barely being mentioned: the release of The One Piece by WIT Studio on Netflix in feb 2027.

Most of us know someone who’d love to get into One Piece but is intimidated by the sheer length of the anime. This series removes that barrier completely, making One Piece accessible to a much wider audience. It’s landing on Netflix, and it’s being made by one of the best anime studios working today.

It’s going to run for years, and I think it could become one of the biggest drivers of the TCG.

The Zorro playmat promo skyrocketed since release

The Zoro playmat promo has seen an insane price increase since februari. The card is just a couple of months old and already is a 700$+ card. TCG player lowest listed 950 and after that 1k+.

The art is really cool and captures an iconic moment. But i cant rationalize a 4 month old promo of a playmat set of 40$ already went 20x. Am I missing something?

Op15 Leaders are awesome!

Been collecting one piece for a couple of years now and I think the OP16 leaders are the nicest leaders in the TCG (especially the buggy imo).

For me they deserve more appriciation and will be good buys for the long term. What do you guys think?

Resealed super pre release deck?

I bought this sealed spr deck and noticed the tape has yellowing and some irregularities. Do you guys think it’s resealed?

How to know if super prerelease deck is not resealed?

I want to buy a super pre-release deck but find it difficult to assess whether it’s legit and not resealed. It seems really easy to reseal a deck given that the sides appear to be sealed with regular tape. Does anyone know how you can check this?

Hot take: OP03 Wanted Luffy is a S-tier SP

In my opinion Wanted Luffy from OP03 is one of the most underrated SP’s and it deserves way more love.
- the first SP in the TCG
- The first wanted card (all the other wanted cards are only in the anniversary sets)
- Unique wanted art with the colors
- Lower population because of less prints of old sets
- Gorgeous smile with shining white teeth

What do we think about the Super Pre Release Leaders?

I really like the super pre release leaders and thinking about buying them all in BGS 10. Except Luffy because of the price.

For me they really seem cheap. They are the oldest one piece cards (except the demo deck) and have really low psa pop count.

I read somewhere that the population of pre release decks is probably around 17k per leader?!. But because a lot of people played with the cards my assumption is that there aren’t a lot of minty pre release cards.

What do you guys think! Is it a long term grail or am i missing something.
