SONY PS-LX310BT broken
re-sharing as i didnt get many replies the first time and this is still bugging me lol!
Hey all
I got a sony ps-lx310bt for Christmas 2 years ago now and we've had a few issues with it
Firstly, i opened it at home (since im at uni) and connected it to a speaker via bluetooth, all was fine, but then after transporting it home (by car, padded up in the box) it would not turn on at all. We had it sent off to a repair shop, covered by sony's 1 year insurance (aside from the service to send it there which set us back £60), but when it turned up they embarrassingly said it had been working the entire time.
Then once it was transported back home i tried exactly what i had been doing before and it somehow turned on but wouldn't turn on bluetooth at all. We fixed this by just getting some wired speakers which worked great for maybe 2 months but now its broken again.
I seriously don't know whats up with it and its stressing me out. The power is on, since i can see the bluetooth button flashing, but when i put a record on and press play nothing happens. I had a similar issue before but i just unplugged/turned it off for a few minutes and it worked fine, but ive had it unplugged for a few days now and just tried and nothing. I think i might've left it on (button at the back on &plugged in, not spinning) overnight or something accidentally but i really didn't think that would be an issue.
Does anyone know whats up with this thing? I'm really not a technical person so i don't know how id fix it at home. Is there any way of fixing it? Can i send it anywhere for a low cost?(Brighton UK based btw) Or alternatively is there any chance i can sell it for a decent price and get a better turntable?
Any help would be appreciated, I work 2 jobs on top of uni and collecting/spinning records is like a big safe space/escape for me so knowing in the back of my mind that its broken and i don't have any way of fixing it is really stressing me out rn lol. (can also send pics/videos)
