Shipped Centsly this week after months of building. It's a multi-currency expense tracker built specifically for travelers, expats, and digital nomads.

The problem I was solving: most expense apps assume you have a US bank account and want Plaid to sync everything. That's useless when you're earning in USD, paying rent in EUR, buying coffee with TRY, and splitting dinner in THB. Your money lives across Wise, Revolut, a local card, and cash. No single bank connection covers it.

So Centsly takes the opposite approach. Manual entry, but fast. 10 seconds per transaction. 166 currencies with live FX rates. Each account stays in its native currency. Cross-currency transfers let you edit the target amount to match what your bank actually credited. Works offline, syncs when you're back online.

Free to use, Pro is $2.99/mo or $24.99/yr with a 7-day trial for unlimited accounts, exports, and recurring subscriptions in foreign currencies.

Built solo with Flutter, iOS first:

Happy to answer anything about the build, the currency handling, or the indie launch process.

Hey everyone,

After months of building, my app Centsly just went live on iOS this week. Android version is about 14 days out.

Quick story on why I built it. I travel a lot and most expense apps on the App Store want to plug into your US bank account through Plaid. That's useless when you're paying in cash, using prepaid cards, or just don't want a finance app reading every transaction you make. I tried spreadsheets, then gave up, then started Centsly.

What it does:

  • Pick your main currency from 60+ supported ones (USD, EUR, TRY, THB, you name it)
  • Log expenses fast, everything shows up in your chosen currency
  • Multiple accounts so you can separate cash, cards, savings
  • Spending heatmap and category breakdown
  • Works fully offline
  • No bank connection, ever
  • All data stays on your device

It's free with a Pro tier if you want unlimited accounts and CSV/PDF export. 7 day trial.

Dropping the iOS and website links in the comments to keep this post clean.

I'd love honest feedback. What's broken, what's confusing, what's missing. I'm a solo dev so every bit of input actually changes the next build.

Also, if any of you are indie devs or just shipped something, drop your app in the comments. Happy to download, try it, and leave honest feedback. We'd all do better helping each other than fighting algorithms alone.

Thanks for reading.
