i dont know the cutoff but I got 81/100 and was invited for an interview

out of 335 points, need at least 290 for a deferred offer, higher for a standard entry offer ~300

there are 9 stations

Contextual

I’m lowkey happy I grew up in a council estate because what do you mean I achieved ABB in my a levels and got 2 dentistry offers (standard 5 year not foundation year BTW)

if anyone else is a contextual applicant and is in y12 with low predicted grades or y13 who feel they won’t get AAA, feel free to DM me!

and before anyone spawns any hate, I still had to get a high ucat score, do all of the work experience and volunteering and sit and pass the interview. getting a B instead of an A in chemistry and maths isn’t going to make me any less of a dentist

My teacher told me yesterday dentistry has gotten so competitive, it’s easier now to get an offer from Oxford and Cambridge for medicine than to receive a dentistry offer. Does anyone know if this is true
