Does anyone know actual outcomes of French tax authorities trying to collect debt/fines via HMRC from a UK company ,Wholly owed (by myself) UK Ltd Company all UK taxes paid - France is trying to in effect double tax as I've spent too much time in France , I know HMRC have an assistance agreement with France but no obligation to collect , What I am looking for is any knowledge of real world outcomes thx - I don't mind paying a reasonable fine/amount but it seems they will ask for roughly the whole value of the company 500K - this isn't going to happen as it is the only resources I have for fast approaching old age etc
