I recently received a TCS PRIME offer and gave the IPA exam.

I scored 48/100, so I failed.

I’ve been hearing mixed things:

- Some people say IPA doesn’t matter at all

- Others say it used to matter for bonuses/early joining, but not anymore

I’m confused about the current situation (2025–26 batch).

Can anyone who has recently joined or gone through this clarify:

1. Does failing IPA affect onboarding or joining date?

2. Does it impact role/package in any way?

3. Is there literally zero consequence now?
