Hi everyone, so on saturday me and my 6 yr old dod the weekly shop. I had items in my trolley from a previous store and these were clearly visible upon entering the store. I went in, did my shopping via self service and left. As i neared my car, the security guard chased after me and demanded i return to the store claiming i had unpaid items in my trolley. I went willingly as i definitely didnt. The man at the self service had for some reason printed out my receipt, and had handed it to another staff member to search my trolley. I asked several times what it was they were alledging i hadnt paid for however they would not say. The only obvious thing was the cat food. So they then demanded the receipt for this and i gave it. They then kept reiterating "we dont want to do this in front of the baby". But then checked my receipts and then told me not to worry about it and sent me on my way. I was physically shaking as they had done this right at the entrance to the store in full view of loads of people. It has distressed me quite a bit and made me feel quite upset about shopping there again however its my main shop. I am now worried they will target me every time i go in.
