I am a novice biker but have recently been looking into a new bike. Most frame sizes are tied to height, but does the height account for your shoes or other clothing that may add height while either sitting or standing (padded shorts and shoes, really)? I ask as I am a frame tweener. I'm 6’1 (185cm). Usually the max frame for a 56cm and low end for a 58cm.

Also, I understand the go to a bike shop and see what feels good argument but not all bikes are available in an area near me.
