BOS - MIL - MIN - POR

BOS - MIL - MIN - POR

NOTE: 2029 MIL is a return of their FRP not a FRS. For some reason Spotrac won't let me do it as a FRP with '28 and '30 FRSs included.

Teams after trade:

Celtics:

PG - Derrick White

SG - Sam Hauser

SF - Jayson Tatum

PF - Giannis Antetokounmpo

C - Neemias Queta

Bench - Brandon Scheierman, Jordan Walsh, Luka Garza and with Vuc off the books they can spend the NTMLE on 2/3 of playmaker, 3&D wing, defensive big

Why they do this - They pair JT with Giannis. After an incredibly underwhelming post-season and some of the noise from JB's camp, it seems clear they need a major change. Yes, they need to fill out this roster with a couple quality pieces, but Brad Stevens and the Celtics Org doesn't seem to have too much trouble with that.

T-Wolves:

PG - Ayo Dosunmu (I think they'll resign and start him until DiVencenzo is 100%)

SG - Anthony Edwards

SF - Jalen Brown

PF - Naz Reid

C - Rudy Gobert

Bench - Donte DiVencenzo (if he comes back next year), Payton Pritchard, Bobby Portis, they sign two wings and fill out the rest of the roster on vet minimums

Why they do this - The Timberwolves ultimately fell apart against the Spurs because Ant was so heavily double teamed and didn't have a reliable second option to relieve the pressure. In this scenario Ant is arguably the second option with JB coming off of a season where he'll finish top 5 in MVP voting. This trade also comes with great depth pieces on friendly contracts that help fill out their roster.

Blazers:

PG - Damian Lillard

SG - Deni Avdija

SF - Jaden McDaniels

PF - Julius Randle

C - Donovan Klingan

Bench - Jrue Holiday, Toumani Camara, Rob Williams (I believe they use as much of the NTMLE to re-sign him), Shaedon Sharpe, AJ Green

Why they do this - This trade gives them high level depth and adds the consistency, discipline and shooting a lot of the guys going out lacked. If Dame is healthy and everyone shows up, this team is a top 3 team in the West.

Bucks:

PG - Scoot Henderson

SG - Terrence Shannon Jr.

SF - Kyle Kuzma

PF - Jerami Grant

C - Myles Turner

Bench - Ryan Rollins, Ousmane Dieng (I think they can re-sign him but KPJ probably walks), Cam Thomas (worth signing him to a minimum), Kris Murray, Yang Hansen, Joan Beringer

Why they do this - If they got everything included, it'd be a great return for Giannis on an expiring where has so much leverage. They get two high ceiling young guys who've had big moments in TJ and Scoot and two young bigs with potential (Hansen on O and Beringer on D) plus 3 unprotected FRPs and 2 FRSs (including most of their draft future back). This is much better than the Miami deal and New York would need help to put together something competitive.

Spotrac has Portland's picks wrong so this would really be swap reversals on Milwaukee's '28 and '30 and return of Milwaukee's '29.
