hey everyone, i’m getting into interior design and looking for some really good book recommendations. What’s are some must-read books, especially for beginners?

Anything that helped you understand the basics or improve your design thinking would be great.

Hi, I’m an architecture student and I originally chose this field to build a strong foundation for interior design. Over time, I actually fell in love with architecture, but I’ve realized it’s not something I see myself doing long-term.

Studying architecture has been very challenging for me, and due to some personal circumstances, I had to take an academic break. During this time, I started learning interior design on my own, and I genuinely enjoy it much more.

Now I’m unsure if I should go back to architecture or focus fully on interior design, maybe by taking a shorter, more specialized course.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
