For the past three sale sign takedown nights, every Saturday I’m scheduled with the same cashier who stands behind the register and shops instead of working. I remember the day we still had some truck left and he was working the same tote for an hour. And then I later learned that was the only tote he did for the 8 hours he was there. I’ve tried to say something to him, I’ve said something to my store manager and all she can say “it’s normal, you’ve just gotta push him further”. And it literally drives me insane, the last one, I took down ALL the sale signs on the floor because he was making a photo order for himself and I was just too pissed off of say anything because I know it would’ve been unprofessional of me. I even told my store manager I took down all the signs and that’s why I couldn’t get my work done and she just said “thanks”. I feel like I’m going in a circle and now I’m scheduled with him again and I’m just so close to saying to her that either I’m not scheduled with him anymore and if I am, I’m not coming in, I’ll find cover but I won’t be working with him anymore. I know I’ll be the ones taking them down today and I just can’t stand it anymore, our store is already hot and we can’t control it, and my store manager doesn’t allow bottles on the floor since it makes the store look messy.
