ADV Training Course?

Hi everyone, I'm newer to ADV bikes. I have a lot of road riding & touring experience. I was into cruisers for a bit and switched gears later in life. After my last big HD Touring bike I bought a KTM 1290 SAS and did some fire roads and a little off-pavement, but nothing too sketchy. I've since moved on to a BMW R1250 GSA.

I know it's a beast of a bike but I don't have the luxury of owning multiple bikes. I also know it will have it's limitations. I want to dip my toes into the BDR and maybe later TAT worlds. I'd like to attend some training. There are a lot of posts to weed through on the subject. Is there a baseline course I should start with? I'm in the Northeast but willing to travel. I know BMW has a school in S.C. (is it worth it?). I've even been tempted to ride to Oklahoma for Dragoo. There are also some regional courses in PA and VT.

Can anyone offer some feedback on where they have gone and if it is worth the money? Thanks!
