Hello, I have a question regarding spiritual karma and how it would affect someone in the specific situation i’m about to discuss
A few years ago, my mother stole my fathers and paternal grandfathers ashes from me.
My father died in 2015, and my grandfather died in 2021. I had a major falling out with my mom (still don’t speak much to this day) and was staying with another family member at the time, while I was out of the house my mother was came over and she went into my room and stole the ashes…
I had just received the ashes because my grandfather passed away only a couple months earlier. My mom did it purely out of spite, hoping to upset me. As I was very close with my grandfather.
Mind you, neither my father or grandfather liked my mom. They both had bad relationships with her and would not have felt comfortable with her taking the ashes… They also both had horrible and abrupt deaths, and the day before my grandfather died he used his last bit of strength to warn me to “watch out for my mother and her family”.
For the past 5 years i’ve been asking family members to help me get the ashes back and nobody was able to find them, I even asked my mother directly and she denied the entire thing… but I know it was her, I wouldn’t misplace something like that. I also saw her in my room when I got back home the day the ashes went missing.
A couple weeks ago when I was visiting my sister my mom gave me a box, which looked like the box the ashes were in… but when I opened it, there was nothing inside :/
i’ve accepted that i likely will never see those ashes again.
But I was curious about what some other spiritual people think of a situation like this? What happens when someone tampers with human remains, especially remains of someone who did not like them? Does anyone have any similar stories? I’m just looking for another perspective/opinion.
