My 5 year old doesn’t care when I cry

Level 3 non conversational 5yo daughter has been having a rough day today. Long story after a certain point I got overwhelmed and started crying. As usual, she showed no concern or reaction, which is very different than my older autistic child who is extremely empathetic. I’m wondering if this may change over time?

Any other single parents who have multiple ND kids who constantly want your attention?

I have level 2/3 children very close in age. Very different interests, sensory needs, just everything. It seems like the only thing they have in common is that they need to have my undivided attention to be happy and play. Which is unfortunate because I am one person who also needs to work and take care of the house and I’m already on the verge of a mental breakdown 99% of the time. How do you do it?

Radical Acceptance

Has anyone practiced radical acceptance and found it helpful? I’m struggling with massive anxiety and depression related to my kids’ diagnoses and I wonder if this might help me get past all the what ifs…

What can I do to distract/numb myself to get through it

I’m on hour 6 of being in my level 3 child’s dark room, who doesn’t want to go anywhere else but needs me with her at all times. She’s very irritable and upset today and I have no idea why. Meanwhile my other child is upset with me for not playing with her. I’m so overwhelmed and anxious and just need suggestions on how to get through today/similar days. Yes I’m medicated and wine/weed not really options as I may need to drive unexpectedly.
