Skilled Part Time jobs in Australia

Hey everyone! 😊

I’ll be moving to Australia this spring intake to start my MBA in July, and I’m super excited (and a little nervous too).

I come from a Project Management background with 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. While I’m preparing for this next chapter, I’ll definitely need a part-time job in Sydney to support my living expenses.

I was wondering what the job situation is like for international students there, are there any skilled or field-relevant part-time roles available (even something aligned with project management, pharma, admin, etc.), or is it more common to start with retail/hospitality jobs first?

Also, if anyone has tips on how to find good part-time work that could potentially help with future job opportunities after MBA, I’d really appreciate it a lot!

Any advice, leads, or personal experiences would be super helpful!!!

MBA at UTS Sydney

Hi,

I have received an offer letter from UTS for this July 2026 intake.

Final offer acceptance and visa filing is in process.

Any fellow here at the same stage?

I'm high time stressing over final gs clearance and fees submission by 31st May and then thereafter visa approval.

Any tips and suggestions are welcomed.

Also in case I get through this, would love to be in connect with the people who also applied for the same intake at UTS.

THANKS!!!

Hi I have received an offer letter from UTS sydney for spring 2026.

As a part of the GS requirement I need to provide a financial matrix of my 2 year expenses. Any fellow here doing the same. Could anyone please help if there is a mandate to provide the full expense of a 2 year course or only 1 year would suffice?
