Weird chest heaviness + palpitations on and off for a year, 22F, don't know what to do
I'm 22F this started May 2025 and I still don't have answers so I'm just going to describe everything and hopefully someone relates or can help it started with this weird feeling around my chest not pain, nothing sharp, just this heaviness and uneasiness Hard to even describe but the closest I can get is like that heavy feeling you get in your chest when something is wrong or you're dreading something, except there's nothing actually wrong happening It was spread out, not in one specific spot Also my heartbeat would get elevated and I could literally feel each beat, like a strong thumping this went on for a few weeks then just stopped Felt completely fine until December 2025 One night I was washing my face and suddenly this wave of uneasiness hit me out of nowhere i had to move to my bedroom, I was standing near my bed and genuinely felt like I was going to drop Then nothing for 3 months
Late April 2026 it started again. I'd just be lying down doing nothing and my heart would start thumping harder than normal and I'd feel this uneasy feeling like something is wrong, that bad feeling you can't shake Episodes would last 5-10 minutes max Chest heaviness, uneasiness through my whole body, elevated heartbeat, brief buzzing sound in my ears and my body felt like it couldn't hold itself up I had to sit down
The whole thing lasted just a few minutes and then I was completely back to normal then on 25th April I woke up and it was way worse than usual The uneasiness was like doubled and this time I was also nauseous. The weird thing is whenever I left my room to go to the hall or somewhere else the nausea would kind of settle, then come back when I returned This episode lasted almost 24 hours I just felt uneasy and slightly nauseous the whole day with that chest thing I can never fully describe.lAnd today 18th May I've been dealing with it again for a few hours
