Super El Niño tips
NorCal region growing outdoors. This will be my first winter with all my 🌵 outside and we'll be getting that super el niño weather. I don't really have enough room to bring them all inside but I could move some to my front porch that's covered they just wouldn't get nearly as much sun. Any tips or let it ride?
Variegation?
Scopulicola 'Cactus Culture' x ScopTPM Big Boy pictured. Looks like variegation or something else?
Roid giving four winds for now
Shout out to u/Relevant_Custard_799 for spreading the Roid. I bought a few from him and they are doing some funky stuff. Really digging it.
Mutant baby
I was up-potting all my seedlings today and discovered this little freak.
New Labels
Glad I got these new metal labels. Old tags with sharpie and labels were getting sun faded and threatening to turn my whole collection into NOIDs.
Double basal pup
I made a mistake when I planted this Juuls Giant OP yearling and it got root rot so I had to cut and reroot it. Now it's got double basal pups popping. Just thought it was interesting.
First time growing from seed
Planted January 24th. I think I'll try starting in vermiculite next time. Some of the soil ended up getting a lot of algae growing and I think it's stunted their growth they're under grow lights pushing about 400ppfd. How we looking, any tips?
Any cause for concern?
Looking for some advice about what's going on with these guys. I'm in Northern California Zone 9a. This blotchy coloring is on a few and a couple have black spots that have appeared. Is it bugs, fungal, humidity or? Any recommendations or treatment suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!
