Slow leak
So I had a slight drip of coolant coming off the very tip of my dog bone mount under the car, it’s an 02 so it’s expected. Well I assume it is coming from the plastic thermostat housing since it’s directly above the mount, so I order a new one, take the old one off, and there is like ZERO gasket on this housing I took off. I put the new one on and tomarrow am going to do a coolant flush. I really don’t want to have to mess with the water pump right now and am just second guessing myself right now and hoping to god it wasn’t leaking from the weep hole on the water pump. I can’t really check right now due to there being no coolant in the engine. I’ll figure it out I guess, just hoping someone has more insight on the chances of it being the housing over the water pump itself.
