My snake is about 4 years old and I recently finished an academy so I wasn’t around to take care of her as much as I usually do.

She ate a rat a few months ago and regurgitated it.

I saw her thirsty like a week ago and confirmed that she drank.

But today I saw her upside down and her (lightweight) plastic hide was over her neck.

She can usually move the hide since she is strong enough to do that but I removed the hide and see an indent from the crush injury a few inches below her head.

I checked and she responded to palpation but she is still in poor condition.

I have warm water on the outside of the tank and I applied the heating pad that someone moved.

I moved her tank to a different location where she will be less bothered.

What should I do ?

I plan to take her to the vet tomorrow but I doubt she will eat in the condition I found her and I can’t go until tomorrow anyways.

I don’t want to heat her up too fast. Not stress her by moving her.

Should I put a towel over the tank to give less light (more comfort) and capture some heat?
