[Edit] Found the game! It's called "Kraken Academy"

I don't know if this is the right subreddit for this but I'm looking for a very niche game!

It was on PC and was I think a Mystery game.

It most likely came out within the late 2010's to early 20's.

The art style was 2D and very similar to the game kindergarten.

One of the main components was a lovecraftian monster that gave you hints/helpful items. It was either a kraken or something like Cthulhu.

The gameplay was somewhat similar to kindergarten in which you had to do certain things in order to actually move forward towards an ending.

Basic description of the whole game: It's a game where you go to a boarding school with 4 houses (like in Harry Potter) and your step(?) sister is in the "cool" house and you are in the "loser" house. You make your way through the common areas of all 4 houses to uncover a secret about the school.

There's one scene where you're attending a costume/Halloween party hosted by the "cool"' house.

I also remember LaurenZSide playing it but could be wrong. Thanks for any help!
