Time War Uncharted - Confused

After Branches came out, I decided to listen to the Uncharted series and... I'm so confused.

I listened to Cass again for the first time since it came out, then the full series, and I'm honestly not sure what has been going on the whole time.

Maybe it just hasn't held my attention which is a shame since I loved 8's Time War before this.

Did anyone else feel the same? Is someone able to explain it all as a summary to a dumb-dumb like me?

16th Doctor's episode titles leaked!

What do you think her first season would have been about?

Did RTD really feel the need to bring back the Vespiform in Honey To The Bee?

Could Big Finish replicate NewWho?

With some uncertainty about the tv series for a while, I was thinking about how Big Finish could replicate the more successful series of the modern era to give us the feel of a yearly series.

I'm 50% posting this for conversation/opinions, and 50% assuming someone on their team wanders this sub for ideas 😂

So...

12-13 episodes with a returning Doctor and returning/new companion. Around 45-60 minutes each (it can be inconsistent to make it right for the story). Pop in a story arc too.

3x 2-part episodes

Weekly release schedule as downloads, with the option to buy/preorder the complete series on CD after release.

It could also star a newly-cast Unbound Doctor to give the feel of a continued series, almost like a pseudo-16/17th Doctor but I can't see that being as popular as a returning Doctor, be them classic or modern.

Now I know they sort-of did this with 8 and Lucie, so in theory that could also be repeated, especially as that had fewer episodes and would have been faster/cheaper to make. Also, they do have modern doctor/new companion series with 11 and 12 but... I'm just in love with the idea of a small part of the year having a weekly-released series of Who.

What do you think?

Edit: I forgot about the new 12DAs doing this

I've applied for a mortgage with NatWest and it has been submitted (Tuesday evening). I've elected to pay the mortgage fee rather than add it to the mortgage.

I was under the impression this does not need to be paid yet and I can wait for affordability checks to be completed first. However, NatWest automatically keep sending me an email every night stating:

We are awaiting your fee payment for us to be able to process your mortgage application.

Please log in to your mortgage dashboard in order to progress this without further delay.

I have spoken to an agent on their LiveChat (not the AI) who said that it can wait, but the fact I keep getting the reminder daily makes me think I will hear/get nothing from them without paying. I'd rather wait, even though it is refundable if the application fails, as the money is in a high-interest ISA and it avoids the faff if I don't pass checks.

Has anyone had this before? Should I pay now or wait?

Follow Up: I rung Natwest and yes, the agents on the LiveChat I spoke to may have been incorrect. They had finished all checks and were ready to offer the mortgage, pending the fee. So I neednt have waited.
