Shortly after John Hurt was introduced in The Name of the Doctor as "The Doctor" I saw a video of a few kids that had just watched the episode. The poor buggers cried their eyes out, because they seriously thought their beloved Matt Smith would soon regenerate into that sad-faced old grandpa. They absolutely HATED his guts!

To be fair: We all were puzzled over this reveal back in the day. But there were more than enough clues that this couldn't possibly be a future incarnation of the Doctor. As if the BBC could afford John Hurt for a full run as the Doctor!!!

Now and then there were moments people hated on changes in the show that never happened, due to a lack of context, lines they'd missed or jokes by the showrunners that had been taken WAY too serious. What do you remember?

Rules are simple: You make a statement concerning Doctor Who and the others have to guess what's wrong with it! Example:

The Fourth Doctor had a robot dog once named K-9. He called him his best friend!

"Um, actually: He called K-9 his SECOND best friend!"

The policemen seen here has the CR logo on the hat, due to change in Royals after the Queens Death with Charles in charge, he is the first one to do so in Doctor Who.

You seen the Met Police in real life had the ER 2 for a long time, the E stands for ‘Elizabeth’ and the R for ‘Regina’, which means Queen in Latin. This was reflected in TV and Film, UK police in those had ER in fictional and non fictional media. However she died in 2022, and Charles, now King Charles the Third, took over and now the Police changed ER 2 to CR 3. This has made it's way into the TV and Film media.

So cut to here, which was last minute scene, they add this scene to CONRR, which was the real Fraser sign was visible and not Henricks and i guess they found a seemly mostly accurate Met Uniform which even seemly has the 'Greater London Police' placeholder for rights issues, which is the usual affair for other TV shows but not Doctor Who as never really bother with this, they also get a bodycam and walkie talkie together, which is also interesting as Police uniforms sometimes are seemly cobbled together and not this well put together, and as result the CR3 logo was put here.

This also confirms that scene does indeed take place 2023 as well.

I know this a pointless yap of nothing but i just wanted to point this amusing detail.

So yeah from CONRR, the Queen is indeed dead

For non-Marvel fans, same premise, alien shape-shifitng displaced refugees are hiding amonst humans with the help of the alien-aware secret agency, but a small gang of extremists don't want to hide and kick off trying to antagonise the humans against themselves.

It was also a flop compared to the original comic-counterpart, and Doctor Who did the concept better in 90 minutes than Secret Invasion did in 6 epsiodes / 3.5 hours

Honestly what a season to introduce you to the show,when i watched this back in 2015 i completely loved it. I just loved Eccleston as 9 and Rose was so likeable,theres also stuff like Dalek,Fathers Day and Empty Child that were just amazing. Slitheen were a cool thing they did and i wish they appeared more. Wish he stayed longer?
