Was checking on the progress for this cake for a second flush. My other tub has been moving much faster but saw some growth and figured just need more patience/neglect. Saw some flees flying around in there today and was a bit confused so I opened it up to fan them out outside (although I’m sure there’s still larvae/eggs somewhere). No foul smell or anything, some of the little aborts that I was unable to scrape off could be rotting? Is this black mold? It doesn’t look like trich to me and also figured it was just bruising from the first harvest.

Since an overnight dunk a couple weeks ago in distilled water I have not opened the lid.

Overall if this should be tossed it’s all good, I got a solid first flush and learned a ton.

Any thoughts on pulling all these remaining little ones? Unclear if they’re aborts and could affect a second flush. I harvested about 240g (wet) of fruits of varying size. Photos for reference. First photo of the sub is AFTER the harvest of the developed/veil broken fruits.

I did mist distilled water after and closed it back up.

Have two tubs going from TBG spores: one shoebox, one modified monotub. Growing pretty well and excited for the next step. Anyone have experience with the Fat Boy genetic? Curious about how/if these guys are going to be taller since it’s looking like the veil is breaking away on some. I know first flushes tend to be on the smaller side sometimes.

Just flipped the lid. This is my first time doing this tek, went s2b about 2 weeks ago and had some leftover grain and sub from going to a smaller monotub. Had this box laying around and so I sanitized it said why not give it a go lol. It’s moving faster than the bigger tub which is still colonizing. Strain is PE Fat Boy from TBG. Fungai cube kit.
