Looking for creative ideas on something to fill this 2” gap between a bathroom vanity and wall. Bonus points if it has some sort of shelf/storage. Basically tired of things falling off the sink, this vanity was installed before we moved in and it’s a PIA. Thanks!

I’ve been wearing acuvue oasys bi weeklies for over 20 years. They were always the most comfortable for me. I tried a few different kinds of dailies at one point but went back to what I always used. My prescription has hardly changed in 20 years. Same eye doc even, no eye issues, etc. Just a yearly check up and new lenses.
I got my yearly check up in 2025 and noticed when my contacts came in I had one box of the old style (blue/white) and one box new style (teal). My prescription is .25 different in one eye. At the time I didn’t think anything of it and really didn’t notice any issues at first.
Around 6 months ago I got my yearly check up done and received 2 boxes, both teal colored boxes. Right away I started having issues in just one eye. I would get random fogginess throughout the day and my vision overall was blurrier than it should be. I thought maybe my prescription changed or I was having some sort of irritation.
I got seen by my doc who said the problematic eye was drier than normal, he gave me some steroid drops and said to use artificial tears during the day, etc.
Today I noticed that 1 of the 2 boxes I received, and the lenses giving my left eye issues were made in Ireland. The other box, also teal but not giving my right eye issues are made in the USA. I’m going to follow up with my doc as well but I’ve seen other posts about the teal packaged acuvue oasys in recent months/years, wanted to get anyone’s input or experience? I thought I was going crazy or my eye was having issues but now I’m thinking it’s a bad batch or defect. I might ask for some trials of different brands as well. Anyone have a similar experience?
I’ve worn this brand of contact for 18+ hours a day, 7 days a week for over 20 years… so I’m a little bit disappointed. Thanks all.
Edit: forgot to add. I used 2 contacts out of the box made in USA, even though the prescription is .25 different and immediately noticed better vision, with a slightly less powerful lens. This seems to point directly at the lenses made in Ireland, or this batch at least.
