After a long, bumpy road even more jarring than the way to Picea Grove's woodline, the cover art and title for Lineage of Thorns is finalized. We'll be sticking with this general feel for the rest of the series. I've also added a prologue to the main body of the book as an extra treat for anyone who wants to delete and redownload to get the final version of the book. A big thanks to everyone who helped me out and gave me advice and feedback whilst I learned not to be a noob, and a very big thanks to all the people who've read Book One already. Yes, you. If you haven't yet, now's a great time! Editing for Book Two is coming along swimmingly, and Angela is hard at work on the art. We're aiming to have the second volume to you by the 15th of September.

Hello! I'm Leif Waters, a long-time fan of the genre, and now a brand-new author. Lineage of Thorns: Book One is my very first book.

It's a slice-of-life/adventure harem romantasy about a 21-year-old accountant named Geran who gets pulled into an eternal struggle between a hidden civilization of tree-nymphs and their immortal, ancient enemy. The only way forward is for him to build a capable harem of mages and warriors, and grow more powerful in his own considerable abilities as well. Contains light BDSM elements.
