Context: I am a 1st year computer engineering student and I am having a dilemma what calculator I should buy as I do want to waste my money just to have regrets later. I can buy the Canon from my friend from a price of 1,800 while the Karce is around 1,500 or 1,300 if discounted

Good day, I am already a SPES beneficiary before I qualified to be a DOST scholar. Hence, I would like to know if I have to forfeit my SPES slot due to DOST. However, afaik SPES is not a scholarship.

Context: I qualified for the DOST Undergrad Scholarship. However, I know that it is not enough to support my studies as we are currently in massive debt. Fortunately, I am an barangay iskolar (1k per sem) do I have to forfeit it? Additionally if ever I will need to forfeit it, there is an incoming Kasanggaling Scholarship (LGU based too). Because DOST handbook only states that I can enjoy TES and other private scholarship as long as it does conflict the return of service and agreement in DOST
I want to pursue computer engineering despite having no background at coding and hardware skills. I love math and willing to work hard to adjust to the intensity of the curriculum.
