What’s up with these “Fortnite-style” RP cities that have neon lightposts, glowing effects everywhere, and stuff like unicorn neon guns and overly flashy cosmetics?

It kind of kills the immersion for me when everything looks super arcade-like instead of feeling like actual GTA RP.

Genuine question — do people actually enjoy that style of RP? Or is it just meant to attract a different audience?

I’m trying to understand what the appeal is, because for me it kind of ruins the whole vibe of serious roleplay.
