FiveM Mods Resource for learning

Hello FiveM friends,

Apologies if this is the wrong place I searched reddit for cfx.re but not much luck.

I am dabbling in to the world of FiveM mods, just a bit of fooling around for now.

I am kind of getting somewhere but the resources online are either outdated or very lacking.

I have been following the following to get started:

And it works but it seems beyond the startup there is not much more help
Vehicle colors for example:

Just assigning a color seem to put me to a halt already...

Does anyone have some good learning resources maybe that I could use to advance?

Obs + GTA FiveM = /scenes showing as black rectangles

So I’ve recently come into an issue where in the fivem game I’m seeing scenes (written text placed around the map by players) fine and having no issue but when it’s sent to OBS the rectangle of the full potential scene shows for the capture only.

Attempted fixes
Emptied both cashes
Changed extended texture budget
Made a new capture source in obs

Nothing has worked

Any good survival/zombie servers non PTW?

Hey, new to the whole GTA RP universe, and loving it, I’ve played a couple of the zombie servers but they seem to be ran by big communities who spawn camp the good drops and it seems impossible to get going as I’m not trying to join a group, just a Lone Ranger type character.

Anyone got any good servers that are survival/apocalypse style? With crafting, building, and decent looting. Non pay to win would be great. Thank you.

I accidentally deleted my chat nodes

I'm a bit newer to FiveM development, and I kinda fucked up.

I was trying to install BigDaddy's chat and I accidentally deleted some chat nodes from the chat folder and I really don't know where to go from here. I don't see any backups for this folder on github or anything

I'm hoping someone smarter than me can help me figure this out.

Good non pay to win servers?

I been playin caliRP for a bit and i cant lie havin to drop 50bucks on a fuckin car radio is insane

paying money for guns is insane to me paying money to go faster is also insane to me

i do mostly gang stuff so i was wonderin any servers out there that wont make me cut my kidney out just to get some good stuff

Disconnecting every time I try to join

Omg. Just installed five m today, and everything went smooth. Joined servers and everything just fine. But every single time within less than two minutes I disconnected with the 60 seconds error. No clue how to fix this. My WiFi is great.

NVE serverside. Experiences?

I was curious about your opinions and possible experiences.

I lately saw that NVE (Natural Vision Enhanced) now offers a subscription that allows you to run NVE on the server instead of the clients.

I was thinking about implementing this on my server but was curious if someone already tried this and what their experiences were.

Is it worth the 10 bucks per month? Does it cause issues for players with weaker computers? How does it handle MLOs?

Help with clientside French Riviera MLO

Hi, I wanted to experiment with my clientsides, is there a way I can take the download to make it applicable to FiveM? I tried doing the .rfp>content>x64>.rfp>etc thingy and added assembly, content, and setup2.xml and changed the name but it didn't go through. Just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or if it's not possible. Thank you for replies! :)

Serious servers with custom cars?

Basically the title, im looking for serious rp servers with custom cars. (Or just not base gta 5 cars because I've been bored of them since 2017😭). I know you can't do name brand cars anymore which is fine but I've seen custom bravados that look like Durangos and cars with wide body's and so on. Also can't be like a dead server lol. I dont even get my pc monday so ill have a backlog of servers to look through. 😅 Thanks.

I see why RP is dead. Simply Put.

Was in a staff team for 6 months, put in a good 3hrs a day, had to leave for 1 week for personal issues (jail) and got removed. No warning, no talking to, nothing. Just annoying when ya make the owner over $50 from sales a week, recruit over 5ppl a day, and put in countless hours, to be removed without warning about me having personal issues.

Now i would understand if they talked to me about it and i could fix it, but i was simply removed. Shits shitty
